Laser: Opton Pro 15 Watt 810 nm/980 nm/1064 nm
Treatment
Laser … the unique light is used both in industry and in medicine. Laser is based on three characteristic fundamentals:
| – | Monochromatic (i.e. electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength/monochromasia) |
| – | Coherence (i.e. phase coherence and guaranteed orderly photon emission) |
| – | Parallelism (i.e. very small deviations of the radiation beam) |
The laser produces lasting effects in the fields of dermatology, neurology, surgery, rheumatology, traumatology, dentistry and veterinary medicine in:
| – | Wound healing |
| – | Anti-inflammatory effect |
| – | Analgesia (pain-relief) and tissue regeneration |
| – | Strengthening of the immune system |
Cellular activity is stimulated by the light beam even in deeper layers, resulting in an increase in energy metabolism (bio-stimulation) in the cell, as well as to increased oxygen consumption. Anti-inflammatory substances are released. Conversion of light energy into warmth is a positive side effect. The resultant warmth spreads through tissue via heat conductors. Constant temperature measurement prevents burning of skin cells. Therapy is usually painless for patients. (Source: Zimmer MedizinSysteme)
